A center of excellence for the treatment of all respiratory diseases, the department is recognized nationally and internationally for its expertise in managing various respiratory pathologies: severe asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), infections, lung cancer, cystic fibrosis, respiratory disorders in patients after allogeneic stem cell transplantation or with congenital immunodeficiency, and lung transplantation.
The department is also involved in the diagnosis and comprehensive multidisciplinary management of sleep and wakefulness disorders (obstructive sleep apnea — OSA, chronic insomnia, hypersomnia, parasomnias, etc.).
