Professor Jaafar BENNOUNA — leading oncologist, head of the Oncology Department, Professor of Medicine at the University of Nantes (France). He specializes in the treatment of malignant tumors of the gastrointestinal tract and the broncho-pulmonary system.
His clinical practice is closely linked to scientific research, particularly within the framework of clinical trials of new anticancer drugs. He is actively involved in teaching students, interns, and participates in educational programs of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO). He is also the Director of the diploma program in Advanced Medical Practice at the University of Nantes.
Previously, he was Chairman of the Medical Committee (CME) at the Western Cancer Institute (Institut de Cancérologie de l’Ouest) and a member of the CME at the University Hospital of Nantes.
