Dr. Nicolas BARIZIAN — specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation, head of the corresponding department at Foch Hospital (Suresnes, France). He has extensive experience in sports medicine and in the rehabilitation of both professional and non-professional athletes.
He has been working with the French national teams since 2002 and served as a physician at the National Rugby Center in Marcoussis. His expertise includes injury prevention, post-surgical recovery, and return to sports activity at all levels. He performs ultrasound- and X-ray-guided injections, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments.
In collaboration with nutritionist Virginie Leconte, he applies micronutritional support to improve performance and resilience of athletes, particularly in cases prone to recurrent injuries.
He teaches in the University Diploma program in Sports Traumatology at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital. He is also the President of the Île-de-France Society of Sports and Health Medicine (SIFMED).
