Recognized as one of the best in France in its specialty, the Urology Department provides active clinical care for various kidney, urinary tract, and male reproductive system conditions.
Kidney transplantation is carried out in close collaboration with the Nephrology Department, thanks to the strong partnership between Professors Thierry Lebret and Alexandre Hertig.
In prostate cancer treatment, the department ranks second nationwide, performing around 400 radical prostatectomies per year using robotic surgery. It is also a leader in bladder and prostate cancer care according to Le Point (2021).
