The Ophthalmology Department specializes in both planned and emergency treatment of all retinal diseases and anterior segment pathologies, particularly cataracts. It is a pioneer in performing outpatient surgical procedures with the ability to correct various vision disorders (myopia, astigmatism, hypermetropia, and presbyopia).
The department treats a wide range of retinal diseases (such as age-related macular degeneration), inflammatory eye diseases, glaucoma, as well as corneal disorders using modern surgical techniques, including corneal transplantation.
